How to Contour your face professionally!

Hey everyone! so i was just reading through my jemma kid makeup masterclass book and i came across
contouring and so i was inspired to make this blog post on how to contour professionally!

this is a picture of the jemma kid makeup masterclass book so i really recomend it!

The tools you'll need:

-you'll need to use a bronzing powder which is two shades darker than your skintone but you'll need a bronzer not really shimmery but not completely matte. i really recomend the sleek contour kit.
this is around 5-6 pounds in the uk from superdrug and ilove this
bronzer because its such a great pigmented product.

This is what it looks like from the inside and on the right
it has a highlighter so you can highlight the area's you need to highlight.

So now all you need is the right brush! i really think elf's blusher, bronzing, blending brush would be
usefull and its only £1.50

This is the brush from the elf website!

This is a diagram which is labled for the parts you need to contour and
highlight. Now i'm gonna give you tips to contour your cheekbones, nose
                                       and jawline!

  Cheekbones:

- suck in your cheeks making that kind'of fishy face to find your natuall hollow.
- This can be emphasized by shading the area with a tadpole shape-the "head" in the hollow under the cheek
apple, the "tail" blending to nothing towards the hairline.
- the contouring should not be too low just on the underside of the bone.
-balance this with a dot at the hollow of each temple and blend.
- a wide forhead can be slimmed by shading at the temple hollow towards the hairline.

Nose:

- To slim a wide nose ,shade either side starting from below the bridges and ending above the nostrils.
- a flared or bulbous nose needs a touch of shade only at either side of the tip
- anyone with very flat noses can just add some shadow at the inner corner of the eye!

Jawline:
- Anyone with a droop ,should shade just below the jawline and blend upwards towards the edge.
- A square jaw can be shaded at the corner of the earlobe, blending out to remove a impression of
overheaviness.
-contouring under the jawbone will define the jawline and slim the neck!

So thats how to Contour your face! hope you enjoyed this blog post!
